The Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) makes gold bullion bars in addition to the Canadian Maple Leaf gold coin. The gold bars range in size from 1 kilogram to 1 ounce. They come in the following sizes: kilogram, 10 ounce, 5 ounce, and 1 ounce. The bars come in an assay card with a black background with the mint logo on the front of the bar. The backside of the bar has repeating maple leaves design. The one, five, and 10 ounce bars are also called gold wafers. The kilo gold bar has more of a poured bar look with the RCM logo and a serial number on the bar.
