These coins are thin compared to other gold coins. They are often in uncirculated or almost uncirculated condition as well as look proof-like. The ducat is unique in that it has a gold purity of 23.68% rather than the gold coin standard of 24k (99.9%), 22k (91.6%), or 21.6k (90%).
